Patty Murray

Patty Murray was born in Washington State in the city of Bothell, where her father owned a five and ten cent shop. She graduated from Washington State University, gaining a degree in physical education. She went on to teach preschool and a parenting class. Murray began her political career in 1992, when she became the first woman senator for the state of Washington. Currently, she holds the Senate Majority Conference Secretary, is a senior member of the United States Senate Committee on Appropriations, the chair of Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies, and in 2001 until 2003 she was the chair of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Murray also holds positions on the following committees; Veterans’ Affairs, Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, Budget, Rules and Administration, and Printing. She takes a strong stance on immigration, global trade exchange, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Dino Rossi

Dino Rossi grew up in Snohomish county the son of a Seattle public shcool teacher and a beautician. he received his buisness degree from Seattle University, Dino then served in the Washington state Senate as a representive of the 5th disrict of King county from 1997 through 2003, where he served on the Senate Ways & Means Committee where he produced the states budget. in 2004 Dino ran for Governor of Washington State under the Republican ticket winning the first two vote counts but narrowly losing in the third by a 129 highly contested votes. Today Dino is running for the Senate Seat Currently held by Patty Murray a much lamented sitting senator stuggling with a faling economy and rising unempolment. that being said Mr. Rossi has a bright future in the state, and we think he could "yabba dabba do it!"
